For best results, we recommend preparing smooth leather with Saphir Stripper before use.

It's important to note that while Saphir French dye can be used on various types of leather, it is not suitable for suede or nubuck items that have been treated with a water-resistant spray. The dye will not penetrate the leather properly. What's more, to avoid staining hands, we recommend wearing gloves when applying the dye.
